Yesterday, Ric had an episode of very low blood pressure and chest pains. This was the third time in less than 2 weeks, and was not showing signs of the speedy recovery from it that he had previously. So we called 911 for an ambulance and they took him to Augusta Hospital in Fisherville.
After they did initial checks, they booked him into the hospital overnight and this morning ran Stress tests and Echo tests on his heart. Both showed abnormalities. We expect that the cardiologist will recommend a heart catheter, but currently, are waiting for him to arrive.
The staff here are great and the hospital room he has has a wonderful view across the valley towards the Blue Ridge Mountains.
We know that this is one of the best hospitals in the country and the place he will get the best care possible. God has certainly brought us to the place where Ric will have the treatment he needs. Many folks are praying for him both in US and UK and we know that whatever happens it is in God's hands and He is always in control. He is an amazing God, and we can trust ourselves fully to His grace and loving care.
