Montecello
Ric, Linda and the boys went to visit Monticello - Jefferson's home near Charlottesville
August 20th and still seeing beauty in the hedgerows and gardens
So many plants are blooming it surprises me that they are doing so in late August.
Not long ago I took pictures of the mountains from here
Now the corn is so high you can't see the mountains at all
In the hedgerow by the cornfield sweeps of blue cornflowers grow
Many of the houses around here have these bright plants blooming
I think they are Crepe Myrtle
